Local knowledge, individual service, global support —
No Red Tape
See the G.J. Gardner Difference.

G.J. Gardner Homes New England is the regional representative of an international residential home builder that has built more than 30,000 homes worldwide. With local headquarters in Dracut, MA and offices across the U.S, Australia and New Zealand, the company is run by the family that founded the company in 1983. A major corporation with local touch, G.J. Gardner is a “glocal” firm with a family touch and no corporate red tape. This culture is vital and the company frequently holds meetings and events around the world to keep personal connections strong among its team of builders. There are currently more than 120 G.J. Gardner Homes franchises operating worldwide, with approximately 25 in the U.S.  The company builds roughly 3500 homes per year and now they’ve found new roots in New England and are seeking the best and brightest partners here to join the G.J. Gardner Homes family.

Family-Run, with deep roots.

G.J. Gardner Homes New England is managed by Chris and Keith Gedrich, a father and son team with deep business, innovation and construction credentials in New England.  The Gedrich family knows our region, its unique needs, and the builders who best serve New England home buyers. All plans, supplies and construction methods are personalized to the New England region to best meet the needs of current and future homebuyers.  And the support our builder partners receive helps them to not only build more homes more efficiently but also to market their company professional, and build a sales and support team to help keep their company growing smartly.

That’s the beauty of franchising. Small builders maintain their independence completely. They maintain their own business, their own profits. The only difference is that they may have a ‘doing business as Gardner Homes’ attached to their names. But they want that because it is the power of the brand.

– Greg Dettwiler,
G.J. Gardner Homes Franchisee

G.J. Gardner came along and I realized you can be part of a bigger company and still be an individual builder in your local area. That’s what appealed to me. When you are on your own as a contractor, you can’t call the other contractors to ask, ‘What are you paying for this or that?’ They aren’t going to give you those numbers. Now, as a franchisee, I can call the other franchisees; we can help one another. It’s a huge benefit.
